What am I going to do now?

I can say it with (slight) pride: I am a fan of reality TV. NOT Celebrity Rehab that makes me sad, NOT Biggest Loser because if they can't lose the weight while I watch, then I'm not interested, and NOT COPS it's just terrible. But now that my favorites are/almost over- what am I going to do now?

The Bachelor is over. I'm so very disappointed in Jake's choice, however, between a vixen and a girl-next-door, the man always chooses the vixen. He can't wrap his head around the fact that the girl-next-door is actually the "one" for him, the one who will nurture his children and live for her family and most likely just expects his love in return. The vixen will love him for now, get her air-time on TV, radio, certain shady advertisements (maybe the new Quik Trim spokesperson?) and then argue with him when he doesn't give her all she expected of him (more Neil Lane diamonds.)

Keeping Up with the Kardashians.
I love them. I truly do. Roomie and I crave them nearly every other day, wishing a new episode would be on at night when we come in from work. I can only watch the episodes when Kim makes the calendar for Reggie and her mom publishes it for the world or when Bruce shoves them into the boxing ring so much. I'm very happy that Kourtney had baby Mason, but am very angry that she hasn't just pushed/shoved/kicked Scott out of her life. He's just a waste. Kourtney- if you're reading this: YOU DESERVE BETTER! Kim, introduce her to some of Reggies friends. Khloe, send her on a blind date with one of Lamar's buddies. Seriously- get her a REAL man.

Orange County Housewives. The finale is Thursday night. I'm super psyched for it, yet sad that Tamra and her husband get divorced. I hope that didn't spoil it for anyone since it was already in the glossies a few weeks back. Alexis is gorgeous, a little pushy with her religion, and Lynn is just freaking NUTS (who doesn't realize they're nearly bankrupt?) and I think this is probably Vicki's last season. She's had enough. HOWEVER!....

NEW YORK HOUSEWIVES!!
These women have always been my favorite of all the housewives. By the way- I intentionally chose a picture without the Playboy-cover girl of March (terrible Kelly Bensimon.) I can actually say that I've SEEN 2 of them while living in the city. Bethenny and 2 of her pretty girlfriends walked past my roommate and me a few months ago while we were searching for a new apartment. We saw Bethenny and knew we were in the right neighborhood. ;) Actually, it wasn't quite like that, but we loved that she walked around there, so it was kind of like icing on the cake. I saw Alex the other day outside my office in Soho. She was on her phone, otherwise, I would have asked to snap a pic with her (certain that Simon would fly out from the nearest leather shop to also join the pic.)

I haven't been able to keep up with any other shows like my past favorites: Desperate Housewives, Brothers and Sisters, Greys Anatomy, and Private Practice as Sundays have been taken up by exhaustion and Thursdays have been taken over by Jersey Shore (guiltily) and OC Housewives on DVR afterwards.

So, I guess to answer my Title's question: What AM I going to do now? I just have Thursdays: NY Housewives.

Does anyone else have a favorite reality TV show (or fake/good quality/network TV show) they can turn me onto?

  1. I love all these shows even though they're sometimes trashy lol.
Have you been watching real world?
I loved jersey shore haha I can't wait for the next season.

I'd suggest Taking the Stage on MTV on thurs. at 11pm. It's a reality show about HS kids who go to a performing arts school.
