Facebook Vanity URLs

Vanity URLs on Facebook aren't a new idea. They thought about it and announced the URL change in March and are now making it known to the Fbook world that they should come up with a name they would want recognized on their person forever.

MySpace did come up with it first and I don't recall them making a big deal out of it: they created every account that way. Even though Fbook may be a "copy-cat" of MySpace in this way: it's very smart.

People can now include their Fbook links onto their resumes/CV, Twitter accounts, blogs, so others can gain access right to that person's Fbook page. It's kind of like linking to a Fan Page from a commercial. Your professional life is your ad campaign and you're just hoping to add more friends by posting your Facebook Vanity URL to anything you do. It's clever.

Reward Yourself to Lose Weight Faster - Diet & Weight Loss - Health.com

Reward Yourself to Lose Weight Faster - Diet & Weight Loss - Health.com

How is it that people always assume that working out WITH someone will help them lose weight? I don't think that's true. If anything, it helps to work out next to someone who is super-fit and can run consistently at the 8.0 mph mark. Anyways- saving money is always a good thing, but saving money for a cuter, smaller outfit is the best thing. Just thought this link has some good info... feel free to share :-)

Bare-chested eye candy turns 60

I  know, sounds crazy.  There are 2 places you can read that headline. 1. CNN 2. CNN Tshirts

I don't know how many people know that you can buy CNN Headlines on Tshirts, but I do know that this site is my guilty pleasure.  Yes, FML.com and TextsFromLastNight.com are funny, but there's something about CNN headlines published on a Tshirt that makes me laugh.  I don't know if it's the fact that CNN publishes these crazy headlines or the fact that someone can wear them, but it's brilliant.

Enjoy the Tshirts and come back to see more blogs from me!
