Spring Fever is creeping into the City...

I feel like today is just like any other Friday. Exciting in that it's the day before a weekend, exhausting in that my mind HAS to think when my body is ready to sleep in, and anxious to kick back in sweats and watch a Lifetime movie.

Then again, it's also March. So, I'm naturally thinking about what I plan on DOING with my weekends in the springtime. Spring is such a lovely season, not my favorite, (at least not today, my "favorite season" changes depending on my mood) but a special season nonetheless. Girls start wearing skirts without tights, guys get to break out some Rainbow sandals with jeans. It's like we're prone to break out of our Kinderegg shells and breathe in the fresh, New York City air the day there's no more slushy snow on the ground.

I'll be able to finally visit my favorite spots again: Boat Basin (pictured here) will open up it's outside area soon enough, the top floor of Sutton Place will take off its ugly plastic surroundings, and Frying Pan will certainly endure it's fair share of crazed east-siders venturing over to the West Side to watch the sun set over Jersey. Aside from bars and scenic people-watching areas, I also love the street fairs every weekend, and running in central park, too (another GREAT place to people watch!)

I want to start looking into other places to explore: wherever you blog readers recommend to me (in and outside of Manhattan)- I'll check some of them out and write about my experience there every Monday.

Where is your favorite place to explore during the springtime?

p.s. I haven't forgotten about handing my award out! I'll send an update with those sensational winners soon! xoxo
